certifications & experience

  • A foundational training rooted in the history and philosophy of yoga, including the Eight Limbs, the Yoga Sutras, pranayama, and meditation. I deepened my understanding of safe, aligned postures, functional anatomy, hands-on assists, and intentional cueing.

  • In 2025, I had the joy of teaching weekly All-Levels Flow at Alchemy in Grand Haven (March–June) and continuing with the community as the studio became Sangha Haus (June–September). These classes wove together movement, meditation, and breathwork with a touch of seasonal intention.

  • This 90-minute monthly workshop combines gentle flow, guided meditation, journaling, and space for community sharing. Designed to support clarity, release, and aligned action toward your dreams.

  • When I’m not guiding yoga, you’ll find me working on my all-natural wellness brand offering handcrafted botanical products for bath, body, and self-care. Rooted in plant wisdom, seasonal cycles, and the belief that self-care is sacred, Unearthed Naturals is truly my labor of love.

my story

I started practicing yoga in college, mostly as a way to “rest” on my days off from volleyball. It helped my body recover from the impact of training and past injuries. At the time, I didn’t see it as anything more than a physical tool. Once I left the court, I left yoga behind as well. I thought I didn’t need it. I’d rather run, lift, and push myself harder.

A few years later, I found myself in a completely different rhythm: working a full-time office job, sitting for eight hours a day, and battling persistent back pain. Physical therapy helped, but when the world shut down during the pandemic, I was left to care for myself. Luckily, my PT had equipped me with a handful of exercises. Movements that, to my surprise, were all rooted in yoga.

Still, I wasn’t quite ready to walk into a studio. Life went on. The stress piled up. I was working a job that I thought was my "dream job", but instead I felt numb, disconnected, and depressed. One day, I saw a Facebook post for a free yoga class on the beach. I figured — why not? One group class couldn’t hurt.

That one class changed everything.

Something clicked that day. I felt present in a way I hadn’t for years. I signed up for a three-month challenge at a local studio, and from there, my life began to shift. My pain lessened. My mind quieted. I started to feel like myself again. Yoga didn’t just help me heal physically - it helped me come to peace with parts of my past I had pushed down for too long.

This practice became a lifeline. A returning. A remembering.

And now, I'm honored to share the gifts of this practice with you.
